PostHeaderIcon Will a body pillow help my pregnant fiance?

She is 18 weeks pregnant and has a lot of back pain, she has a very small frame and has gained weight and her body isn’t use to it. She is having a hard time sleeping she is very restless and I feel so bad I want to do something. What if I drove to the store and got her a body pillow for support would that help? I am up at 5 am because I feel bad and I really want to do something for her. Thanks.
Also she has had back problems in the past.
Actually I do feel bad lady, and I put that I am up at 5 am because i was giving my reason for being up. I dont need strangers to tell me I am a good partner I know that I love my fiance and I was just asking for advice. I am sorry if I offend you by expressing my concern.

PostHeaderIcon 8 months pregnant and have a 12,000-word dissertation to finish?

I get extremely uncomfortable every which way I sit — on the desk, upright on the bed with the laptop in front of me, even with lots of pillows to support my back — I don’t know what to do and I’m losing my mind a little. What should I do?? =(
I have to get this done before my deadline (Dec 15)!
Is there any other posture I can try?

PostHeaderIcon I am only 19 weeks pregnant, and already my back hurts SO BAD right in the middle. What can I do? ?

I already have a body pillow for “support.” And I’ve tried to put a pillow behind me (since I’m sleeping on my side) for support. Nothing seems to help!!! I feel like I’m never going to get any sleep again!!!! Any suggestions would REALLY be appreciated! Thank you!

PostHeaderIcon Is your body pillow your best friend while pregnant?

My poor body pillow. It needs to be retired. I use it to pad the seat and back of my computer chair at home, I use it to support my back when I sleep at night. I use it when my hips hurt, between my knees. The thing is so battered and bruised and beat up. It’s sad, But i LOVE it! Anyone else? It’s turning into an addiction much like Linus and his blanky……. LOL

PostHeaderIcon Are Short People More Likely to have horrible back pain over tall people when pregnant?

I am 22 (23 in 1 month), 5′0 tall, and 25 weeks along (6mo, 1wk). I have horrible back pain, even when walking short distances. I am constantly out of breath. Before I got pregnant, I was 160 pounds. I was not fat cause most of that weight is in my hips & thighs. When I sit down, there seems to be no comfortable way to sit. Even laying on my side is uncomfortable. The pillows are not helping either. Also, does anyone recommend the Pregnancy Comfort Back Support and that little wedge thingy? Are there any other affordable remedies that you can recommend that does not involve taking medicine? I don’t know how much of this i can take.

PostHeaderIcon Is it ok to sleep propped up on my back being pregnant?

I am getting ready to enter my 3rd trimester. I am trying to sleep on my preferred left side, and I turn to my right side as well with the pillow between my knees, and a pillow to support my upper body. But I find that the only position that I am comfortable in and can get sleep is on my back with pillows propping up my head, and a pillow under my knees. Is it safe for my baby when I sleep that way?
