Lower back and hip pain?
Hi ladies,
I need to know if anyone has any advice on severe lower back and hip pain. I have done a lot of research and reading on the symptom and seems it is very common once the third trimester is hit, but my back and right hip are absolutely KILLING me! It actually feels like my right hip is trying to fall off my body it hurts so bad. I’ve tried a maternity pillow boppy, a maternity support sling, warm bath, heating pad, cold compress, sleeping on my left side, and massage. Nothing seems to help. My doctor just brushed it off and told me that it was a normal symptom and recommended I do everything I have already done. I am not in labor or pre-term labor, it is just pain. Hurts to sit, stand, lay, walk, change position, you name it. Any advice on what I can do that can safely help with the pain that I haven’t tried yet? Anything will be graciously accepted and tried. Thanks….

sitting on the floor all day-speech therapist-back pain?
My mom is a speech therapist which means she goes from home to home all day and sits on the floor with children at least 8 hrs a day, I wanted to buy her a special pillow/chair that would support her back a little (she complains about the back pain and how uncomfortable it is for her) but I have no idea where to buy such a thing or what it would be called. Please help if you have any information or links, thanks so much!!!
p.s. by the way sitting at a table or desk is out of the picture, because she cant interact with the child as much…
I’m feeling pain in the lower middle portion of my back. Please help?
The lower middle portion of my back has been hurting for awhile now, and I don’t know what to do. It doesn’t hurt consistently, just only when I move my body in some ways (it doesn’t hurt when I bend my back down or sit or anything – I think it hurts the most when I’m walking). The pain started last Friday, when I sat down on the floor against the bed with a pillow behind my back for support while doing some coursework, and it has been going on ever since. The pain was originally on the lower right side of my back, and then moved to the middle. I’ve been taking Coral Calcium for a couple of days now (didn’t take today and yesterday though, I think), and while the pain has decreased, it hasn’t gone away. =/ I’ve never had this kind of back pain before.
Does anyone know what I can do to make my back feel better? I’m thinking it’s because I sat in an uncomfortable position for my back that day, but who knows?
Oh, and I’m 18 years old. I rarely excercise much (sadly) and I’m a bit of a junkie when it comes to food (I like to eat chips and sweet stuff like chocolate a lot, but I don’t eat it often).
Thank you!
sleeping and back pain?
`i am 16 weeks pregnant. Every morning I wake up and my back is just killing me! I sleep on my left side, with a body pillow in between my legs, to give natural hip positioning, and use support pillows for my back. And it still hurts alot when I wake up, and gradually fades off as the morning goes on. Did anyone else have this, what helped you?
Are Short People More Likely to have horrible back pain over tall people when pregnant?
I am 22 (23 in 1 month), 5′0 tall, and 25 weeks along (6mo, 1wk). I have horrible back pain, even when walking short distances. I am constantly out of breath. Before I got pregnant, I was 160 pounds. I was not fat cause most of that weight is in my hips & thighs. When I sit down, there seems to be no comfortable way to sit. Even laying on my side is uncomfortable. The pillows are not helping either. Also, does anyone recommend the Pregnancy Comfort Back Support and that little wedge thingy? Are there any other affordable remedies that you can recommend that does not involve taking medicine? I don’t know how much of this i can take.
Lumbar Support Pillow Pain Relief Demo
lumbarsupportcushion.net If you are suffering from low back pain, then you would want to evaluate whether a lumbar support pillow is a good option for you. These small pillows usually go a long way forward in extending support to your spine. The wholesome support received by the spine in turn minimizes the onus on the spinal system. That significantly reduces the back pains we suffer from.
