PostHeaderIcon When can baby sleep on tummy and with blankets?

My baby is 4 months old and has just now started rolling over from her tummy to her back. If, in the middle of the night in her crib, she rolls from her back to her tummy, and stays like that, is it safe? How about when to put blankets/pillow in her crib? She has VERY good neck support by the way.

PostHeaderIcon I’m looking for some helpful tips on how to nurse my baby comfortably while sitting up in bed.?

Do you prop pillows behind you, or have a special pillow or something to give back support?

I usually nurse laying down, but there are times when I want to sit up, and I need good support for my back.

Best answer gets the 10 points.

PostHeaderIcon What head support pillow would you recommend for flat head baby?

My baby is 4 months old and he has a very flat head developed from sleeping on the back too much. Since sleeping on the back is the recommended position to avoid SIDS, I am not sure it is good to let him sleep on the sides. Anyone knows would a head support pillow helped to correct the flat head? If yes, any particular pillow you can recommend? Thanks!

PostHeaderIcon When your baby was a newborn where did he/she sleep?

I am due any day now and this is the one thing that we still have not figured out. We have a crib in the nursery but for the first few weeks he probably wont use it as its to far away for feedings, we don’t have enough room at the side of the bed for a full co-sleeper, a bassinet is very expensive for something that will only be used a short time. We do have an inclined sleep positioner which is a kind of pillow wedge and we were thinking of putting that between us in our bed and putting him in with us but my mother who is staying with us thinks that he should have his own separate sleeping area in our room somewhere. Other than that we have a baby swing but I wouldn’t let him sleep the night in there.
Any advice or suggestions?
