PostHeaderIcon Are couch cushions machine washable?

I just had a couch gifted to me from a bachelor uncle. Its is a very comfy fabric couch in good condition but a bit dirty. the seat cushions have zippers and i can take those off and throw in the washer, but the back pillows have non-removable covers. How can I clean these? soak and scrub, or can I put them in the washer too? My building has high efficiency front loading machines, if that makes a difference.
Also, will scrubbing the chassis of the couch (armrest, back support, im not sure what to call the whole assembly) the proper method of cleaning?

PostHeaderIcon did i just buy the wrong pillow?

I just bought a down alternative pillow and was excited to sleep on it last night but after 15 minutes I went back to my old pillow that I figured was too old (flat, firm). I switched back because I am a side sleeper and after researching, side sleepers should be buying firm or extra firm pillows however many side sleepers still buy down pillows anyway and I think down pillows are the most bought? Even when sleeping on my back the new pillows felt like it sunk in too deep making it feel as though I have no support. They are definitely soft and fluffy but not comfortable. Are they suppose to “break in”?

PostHeaderIcon i’m worried she might hit head too much?

She is 7 months old and sometimes she’ll trip or roll over and hit her head, sometimes sitting and playing, then all of sudden drops her head and hit the floor, i know to put pillow support her back, but when visiting or other places, she can sit alone, but sometimes she’ll just snap and fussy and then moves and hit her head and screams and cries for few minutes.

I’m afraid if she is hitting her head too many times, will it do damage? i’m concerned her well beings. doctor says babies fall all the time, but how much is enough?
I MEAN SITTING ON THE FLOOR

PostHeaderIcon Lower back (spine) is hurting a lot…especially today! HELP!?

I am only 19, and not over weight (in shape) and my lower back is hurting over the past few days. Today is worse.
To me honest, by showers and neck are sore, too because of my pillow.
My bed is fine, but I don’t know whats causing this back pain.

I have 2 exams on saturday….so I have been sitting on my chair, studying. It doesn’t support my back, as I am usually at the edge of the chair. Also, if i bend backwards or foreward….I can really feel it.

Should I take painkillers? (They don’t really work for me)
What do I do?
