The Landstuhl Hosptial Care Project donated so many necessary items for his platoon. He says they sent just about every shippable item they requested (from cleaning supplies to litters). The president's name is Karen and I have corresponded with her personally. Contact her on their website at http://www.landstuhlhospitalcareproject.org/. Also, look into the adopt-a-platoon project through the Association of the U.S. Army at www.ausa.org. Finally many company's are adopted by cities. Contact your FRG leader to find out if your company has a sponsor. You can also solicit a city to do this, but talk to your FRG leader, or Rear-D commander, to make sure you don't step on any toes. Perhaps you can help these soldiers one platoon at a time, rather than on the brigade or division level. It's easier to make a difference that way.
