I am only 19 weeks pregnant, and already my back hurts SO BAD right in the middle. What can I do? ?
I already have a body pillow for “support.” And I’ve tried to put a pillow behind me (since I’m sleeping on my side) for support. Nothing seems to help!!! I feel like I’m never going to get any sleep again!!!! Any suggestions would REALLY be appreciated! Thank you!

my gyn gave me a little booklet with symptoms and things to do to help them,i’m sharing it with you, i hope it helps.
Rest Often
Keep Good Posture
Move around rather than standing in one place too long
Use a foot stool for your feet
Keep your knees higher than your hips
wear low heeled shoes
Take lot’s of warm baths, it really helps! Make sure it’s not above 110 degrees though. Also, ask your doctor about thermoheat. They are heat pads that stick to your back. I used them with my pregnancy and it really helped. But make sure to ask your doctor to see if it’s safe with YOUR pregnancy. But as far as sleeping goes, it’s only going to get worse. Sleeping is horrible when you’re pregnant. Pretty soon your hips are going to hurt too! Not a whole lot you can do about it.
Just cry cause that baby probably has his foot all up in something making you uncomfortable. He won’t stop. But if you can get your partner to maybe massage you where it hurts the most, it might help at least ease the pain. I’m 35 weeks and he has been laying on my sciatic nerve since the 8th week….I thought he’d get off of it eventually but he’s still killing me. Other than that though talk to your doc about Tylenol 3s if regular tylenols won’t help. You just can’t take them religously. Save them for when it’s REALLY bad.
I had to see a physiotherapist when i was pregnant with my daughter and i’m going to see another one with this pregnancy. I have lower back problems and sciatica without being pregnant so it’s alot worse when i am. Physio didn’t help with my daughter so i’m doubting it will help me this time either. The only thing you can really do is stand and sit straight, don’t slouch, rest when you can and hopefully get a bit of a massage every now and then. Different things work for different people so i guess you have to find something to work for you
I am 20 weeks and have that problem and its like my butt bone hurts, my hips hurt, everything hurts I always tell my husband I am falling apart!! I didn’t hurt at all with my daughter until the very end of the pregnancy and this time its all so early. I do have to say though that it is all worth it in the end when you see that little baby!!!
I think it helps a bit to have a pillow between your legs and then I put some behind me until I find a comfortable spot. When I was pregnant the first time I would actually lay on a few pillows. I know this doesnt sound to comfortable but I have also found that laying on the hard floor really feels good sometimes.
