PostHeaderIcon did i just buy the wrong pillow?

I just bought a down alternative pillow and was excited to sleep on it last night but after 15 minutes I went back to my old pillow that I figured was too old (flat, firm). I switched back because I am a side sleeper and after researching, side sleepers should be buying firm or extra firm pillows however many side sleepers still buy down pillows anyway and I think down pillows are the most bought? Even when sleeping on my back the new pillows felt like it sunk in too deep making it feel as though I have no support. They are definitely soft and fluffy but not comfortable. Are they suppose to “break in”?

PostHeaderIcon i’m worried she might hit head too much?

She is 7 months old and sometimes she’ll trip or roll over and hit her head, sometimes sitting and playing, then all of sudden drops her head and hit the floor, i know to put pillow support her back, but when visiting or other places, she can sit alone, but sometimes she’ll just snap and fussy and then moves and hit her head and screams and cries for few minutes.

I’m afraid if she is hitting her head too many times, will it do damage? i’m concerned her well beings. doctor says babies fall all the time, but how much is enough?
I MEAN SITTING ON THE FLOOR

PostHeaderIcon Lower back (spine) is hurting a lot…especially today! HELP!?

I am only 19, and not over weight (in shape) and my lower back is hurting over the past few days. Today is worse.
To me honest, by showers and neck are sore, too because of my pillow.
My bed is fine, but I don’t know whats causing this back pain.

I have 2 exams on saturday….so I have been sitting on my chair, studying. It doesn’t support my back, as I am usually at the edge of the chair. Also, if i bend backwards or foreward….I can really feel it.

Should I take painkillers? (They don’t really work for me)
What do I do?

PostHeaderIcon Will a body pillow help my pregnant fiance?

She is 18 weeks pregnant and has a lot of back pain, she has a very small frame and has gained weight and her body isn’t use to it. She is having a hard time sleeping she is very restless and I feel so bad I want to do something. What if I drove to the store and got her a body pillow for support would that help? I am up at 5 am because I feel bad and I really want to do something for her. Thanks.
Also she has had back problems in the past.
Actually I do feel bad lady, and I put that I am up at 5 am because i was giving my reason for being up. I dont need strangers to tell me I am a good partner I know that I love my fiance and I was just asking for advice. I am sorry if I offend you by expressing my concern.

my mattress is hard (i live in the dorms of my school so i can’t change it) and ever since i’ve moved in my back’s been cracking and whenever i sit down i always slouch because i can’t maintain to sit up straight. i hope this doesn’t cause any medical problems. this weekend i want to buy a pillow to support my back and that should help but it may continue to crack. any suggestions?

PostHeaderIcon Has anybody experienced a movement disorder after intense exercise?

I have herniated disk in my lower back and neck, also sciatica and spondolysosis of the spine, I entered a vocational rehab exercise program for body strengthening after intense exercising at three weeks my whole body started to have uncontrolled body contortions becoming ridged and shaking. Was in the hospital for 12 days with 7 of the days of non stop moving could not walk without assistance. Doctors could not figure out what was happening and when all was over I had 5 herniated disk with one of them rupturing when I only had 3 to begin with. I’m fully aware of everything going on and not able to speak at times and other times would studder . It has been a full year now since this all came about I sleep in a recliner with a back support and a pillow for my neck I have tried to sleep in a bed however its not enough support and it causes my body to go into the movement episodes.I continue to have any where from 1 to 5 episodes a week lasting anywhere from 15 minutes to several hours after taking my medications I do have a couple weeks without any episodes. The episodes can be very painful and some of the triggers are of course when I have a flare up in my back or neck and or being over stimulated with sounds or to many people or stress or being tired. I can feel the episodes come on sometimes by getting a stomach ache or head ache and at other times they just happen out of no where. Greatly appreciated if anybody else has experienced this kind of bizarre happenings. It has been ruled out as MS or Lou Garrets or Parkinsons also seeing a movement disorder doctor and he still has not diagnosed me and he feels that Destonia and Proximal Deskinesia are not what I fit into.
